August 9 Drive Thru Food Drive Success!

We have a truly amazing and generous congregation!!  

Our food/donation drive for the needy in our community on August 9generated two truckloads of groceries and $2500 in cash and checks.  Don Hynek and Frank Maggio delivered the groceries to The City Center on Sunday afternoon.  Those groceries will be shared with Tender Life Maternity Home, and the $2500 in cash and checks was delivered to Project Understanding.  

Their pantry will be able to purchase approximately 10,000 pounds of groceries from the Food Share food bank with the donated cash and checks.  Another example of God's Work, Our Hands.
