Lord, our healer and our refuge, we ask that your spirit cover those who are reeling with sorrow and grief from the attack on Robb Elementary school in Uvalde, TX and the racially motivated killings in Buffalo, NY. We pray for first responders and hospital officials as they treat and care for the shooting victims. We pray for Your comfort for the loved ones of those who died or were hospitalized in the shootings.

We pray for the President and his administration to seek God’s heart as they work to prevent violence.

Help us to take time to hold our loved ones who are with us - and may Your care surround us and embolden us to find ways to stop violence such as this in our country and communities.

We ask that You guide us and continue to lead us in such a time as this. Amen.
