Hygiene Bags Distributed!
With the help of a Thrivent Action Plan acquired by Jack Peveler, and donations from Trinity’s congregation, over 100 Hygiene Bags were created and distributed - 80 at December’s Family to Family lunch and the remainder after the Dec. 20th church service. The congregation was invited to distribute these bags to those in need throughout our community. The Hygiene Bags consisted of items many of us take for granted each day - water, socks, gloves, mask, soap, snacks, etc.- but are not easily accessible to those trying to survive on the streets. Jack saw a need and filled it. Conscripting his wife, Sandy, and a couple of energetic grandkids, this small but mighty Action Team filled not only 100+ bags with much needed items, but also many hearts with joy, because someone remembered “…the least of these.”
