We know that looking for a new church can be overwhelming, so we'd like to help you by telling you more about what you can expect when visiting TLC.
When are services?
We offer a contemporary worship at 9am and traditional worship at 11am. The main difference between the services is the kind of music you will hear: Music led by a praise band at the contemporary service and hymns and liturgy sung piano and organ at the traditional service. You are welcome to join us for fellowship time between services at 10am. Adult classes may also be offered during this time.
Where are you located?
TLC is located at 196 N. Ashwood Ave – between Loma Drive and Telegraph Road. Click here for directions.
What should I wear?
We want you to feel comfortable. We are thrilled that you're joining us and want you to be more focused on the service than what you're wearing. It's not uncommon to see people wearing khakis or jeans. Others prefer to still put on their "Sunday best," and that's fine too! We think you'll fit in no matter how you dress.
Where do my children go?
We welcome your children to sit with you in church. During the 9am service, we offer Time with Young Disciples moment during service. We offer Godly Play Children's Worship following the 9am service age 3-5th grade. Noisy kids? It's OK! All are welcome.
Should I go up for Communion?
All who believe that Christ is present in the bread and wine are welcome to receive communion. Grape juice is available for those desiring it, as well as gluten free hosts. If you would like to go up to receive a blessing during communion, simply cross your arms in front of your chest when the bread and wine are offered.
